Import Rival: How did you get involved in import modification?
souldout: Had a modded Chevy S-10 and then bought a Mazda 3. Since I was already into modding autmobiles I decided to do the same with this car.

Import Rival: What personal reasons do you have for doing this?
souldout: It's fun and I enjoy it.

Import Rival: Why did you choose THIS vehicle to modify?
souldout: It was cheap, I got a discount through work, and you don't see too many Mazda 3's with mods.

Import Rival: How did you get involved in competitions/shows?
souldout: Went to a local show with a group of friends and thought it would be cool to be in one myself.

Import Rival: How did you get involved in racing?
souldout: I don't race this car. It's more for looks than anything.

Import Rival: Is this the first vehicle that you have modified?
souldout: No, first was a 1998 Chevy S-10. That was my baby.

Import Rival: Is this the first vehicle that you have raced?
souldout: I had a 1991 Ford Mustang 5.0 awhile back. That's the only one.

Import Rival: Who is/are your current car clubs/teams/speed shop?
souldout: Soul'd Out Christian Car Club.

Import Rival: Who are your current sponsors?
souldout: None

Import Rival: What is your advice for those who want to get started in import
modification or competing?

souldout: Get some help from friends at first and be unique.

Import Rival: What is your advice for those who want to get started in racing?
souldout: Do it legally! Find a local track or something.

Import Rival: Is this vehicle your daily driver?
souldout: It is my daily driver.

If so, how often do you get undue attention from law enforcement?
souldout: Luckily, I haven't had any run-ins with law enforcement.

Import Rival: What was your biggest mistake when you began modifying your
vehicle?

souldout: Painting the engine cover the wrong shade of blue. Didn't come close to matching.

Import Rival: What do you think makes your vehicle special?
souldout: It's the only Mazda 3 with a Buddy Club II kit, andit's the only kit like it available.

Import Rival: Any other comments or shout-outs?
souldout: God, Parents, Girlfriend, Car Club.

Import Rival: What are your future modifications?
souldout: Tinted Windows, Turbo, magnaflow Exhaust, a few more TVs.

Import Rival: What awards/recognition have you received?
souldout: None yet.
